5 Best technology channels to watch on Youtube
I will discuss 5 best tech channels to watch on YouTube on this post.
We spend a whole lot of time daily, surfing on the internet through our go to social media sites. We consume a plethora of information everyday which might include Music, News, Educational Content, Memes, and what not. Some of us are also fond of Tech related information and might be searching YouTube for information related to tech daily or consumes just what YouTube thinks best for us.
Let it be for quenching our thirst for technical information or suggestions to buy a new gadget we would find very few people who have not tried to find their desired information by googling it out or on their desired search engines. Most of the time we end up finding a Youtuber sharing his information on a certain gadget or talking about a new technology let it be Elon Musk preparing for a ride to mars. YouTube has become a great place to find just about any information about anything.
In this blogpost, I am going to discuss 5 of my tech-channel finds on YouTube, whom I have been following for years and who readily helped me get my doze of information about tech or get rid of my boredom. So lets get started.
1. Unbox Therapy:
Unbox Therapy, headed by Lewis Hilsenteger a.k.a Lew, is a big name when it comes to unboxing tech gadgets. His videos has a characteristic loudness in speech while presenting. He is very interesting personality to watch, very vibrant. His subscriber count is at 18M+ and channel view surpassing 4B+ by the time of writing this article. He started this channel on 2010 (source) He tops this list by number of subscribers in YouTube. His presentation basically involves unboxing a tech gadget and reviewing the look and feel of the gadget as a first time user. He tries to give first hand experience of how opening a gadget might feel and what to expect from a brand new gadget box. This channel is highly recommended to all gadget lovers who is looking for entertainment and also information about technology you may want to buy or at least enjoy watching being opened for the first time.
2. Linus Tech Tips:
The channel started its journey on 2008 (source) and at the time of this writing houses a whopping 13M+ subscribers with 5B+ Channel Views. That's pretty crazy right! The founder of this channel Linus Sebastian initially started out with Canada based computer store NCIX and was a product manager for the said company, which got closed in 2017 completely, But Linus's found LTT was thriving and became a go to place for most tech lovers on the cyber world. You may checkout this channel and hopefully won't be disappointed by the nerdy yet astounding stack of information on computer hardware and just about every technology they like to serve you with daily. Watch it for fun or for information you will enjoy it for sure.
3. Marques Brownlee:
Marques Brownlee (a.k.a MKBHD) his bio on YouTube says -
MKBHD: Quality Tech Videos | YouTuber | Geek | Consumer Electronics | Tech Head | Internet Personality! All that converges into one person, MKBHD known by the internet world also started out in 2008 (source) as a young youtuber. By the time of this writing this particular channel has 14M+ Subscriber with 2B+ channel views. Serving hot tech videos frequently. This channel is fun to watch specially for the his sparkling persona. He is a great influencer and idol for a lot of youtuber out there starting now to grab a hold of the YouTube tech video industry. His style of presentation is simple yet informative. You may check his channel out if you are planning to buy premium gadgets- smartphones, and more. You may find out just the right information you need to proceed. He also speaks out about issues in new released techs and never forgets to amuse us by visiting destinations to inform us about what's happening in the tech industry. Do visit this channel once and never get a change to forget it.
4. Mrwhosetheboss:
iJustine is a top female tech YouTuber and a very old YouTuber indeed, starting out in 2006 (source). By the time of this writing she has a huge, 6.9M+ subscribers with 1B+ channel views. She is not just a tech celebrity youtuber but also a vlogger, video gamer and failed cook (Bio on youtube) and more. Her portfolio as a media personality is longer than that and she has some really amazing accomplishments in the media and tech industry. Her channel name might suggest she is an iBrand fanatic (read apple). Although she reviews almost every kind of tech products with a more inclination towards Apple products. Nowadays, its really not difficult to find female youtubers reviewing tech but some must pave the way for females to come and contribute in this arena.
